The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA XV) for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates in participating public sector banks. This is a two-tier process consisting of an Online Preliminary and an Online Main examination. A total of 10,277 indicative vacancies for the financial year 2026-27 are available across various states and union territories.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.08.2025)
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:
- Age Limit: The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum is 28 years. This means a candidate must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1997, and not later than August 1, 2005. Age relaxation is available for certain categories.
- Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India is required. The candidate must also possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate as of the registration day. Computer literacy, including operating knowledge of computer systems, is mandatory.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for a specific state/UT must be proficient in (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) the local language of that region.
- Nationality: A candidate must be a Citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan Refugee, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from certain countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Application Fees & Charges
The application fees must be paid online between August 1, 2025, and August 21, 2025:
- Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates.
- Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) for all other candidates.
Bank transaction charges will be borne by the candidate.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The recruitment process consists of two online examinations. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the objective tests.
Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
This is a qualifying examination, and candidates must secure the cut-off marks in each of the three tests to be shortlisted for the Main examination.

How to Apply
Candidates must apply online only through the official IBPS website. The application process involves online registration, uploading documents, and paying the application fee online. The last date for online registration and fee payment is August 21, 2025.
Applicants must use the "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XV)" link on the IBPS website to fill out the online application form. A provisional registration number and password will be generated, which should be saved for future use.
Important Points to Note:
- Once the "COMPLETE REGISTRATION" button is clicked, no changes can be made to the data. An "Edit Window" will be provided after the closing date, but some fields like Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc., cannot be edited.
- Candidates must upload a recent passport-sized color photograph, signature, left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration, and other necessary documents.
- The handwritten declaration must be in the candidate's handwriting and in English only, written in black ink, and should not be in capital letters.
- All intimations regarding the exam will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
- Candidates are advised to apply well before the closing date to avoid technical issues due to heavy website traffic.
Selection and Provisional Allotment
After the Main examination, candidates will be shortlisted based on merit for provisional allotment to one of the participating banks. The final selection is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and identity verification by the allotted bank. A Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) will also be conducted after the Main exam but before joining the bank. Failure to qualify in this test will result in disqualification from the process.
The validity of the CRP CSA-XV will expire one year after the date of provisional allotment.
